Step 1 – Get a copy of the Genesis Framework
The Genesis Framework is where it all begins. (If the concept of a theme framework is a little confusing, be sure to check out StudioPress 101.) For $59.95, you get Genesis, which serves as the parent theme and foundation for ANY StudioPress theme.

You can purchase any of the following themes as a standalone (most are $24.95), or packaged with the Genesis Framework ($79.95). If you already own Genesis, you don’t need to buy it again.
