With me, it’s just right.

Could've been so beautiful, could've been so right... if I'd hired Carrie.

Move to TCU

Through a partnership with local Fort Worth realtor, Greg Fischer, I had the opportunity to work on my first Premise landing page project: MoveToTCU.com. If you haven’t heard of Premise, it’s a super-powerful digital sales and lead generation engine built for WordPress by Copyblogger Media. You can do all kinds of things with it (sell stuff, set up membership and protected content areas, etc.). For the purposes of this project, we wanted to use Premise to set up a landing page to generate sales leads.

In addition to being a long-time realtor, Greg is in the MBA program at TCU. Last year, fellow MBA-ers began leveraging his real estate skills to find housing and, just like that, a business idea was born: Help incoming TCU MBA students relocate to Fort Worth.

The project screamed PREMISE LANDING PAGE because of these elements:

  • A very specific niche market (TCU MBA students)
  • A very specific service (help them find a place to live before they even arrive in Fort Worth)
  • A very specific window of time (three months leading into the fall semester)

The goal of the page? Get users to fill out a brief contact form with just enough information to begin a house hunt. The first conversion came within a few hours of launch. Win!

This was a fun project. It met all the criteria of being SMART, plus I had the opportunity to work with Premise 2.0. I’m already chomping at the bit for my next Premise project.
