Kay Spruill, owner of Inside Out Designs in Fort Worth, Texas decided to expand her business offerings with a sister company, Custom Laser Engravers (CLE). From personal engravings to industrial applications, Kay works with clients to provided a highly customized and unique service.
Since CLE was starting from the ground up, the company needed to start with the basics, such as a logo and letterhead. Additionally, securing a domain and setting up email addresses was a top priority. Working with Kay to help launch her business from scratch was a great joy!

Once the basic elements of the company were established, it was time to get a website up and running as quickly as possible, as the company was already starting to receive mentions in the media.
I selected the Midnight Child Theme from StudioPress to be the basis for CLE. The dark theme worked beautifully with the logo and the clean design was perfect for communicating CLE’s offerings in a clear, concise manner.
Some very light style customizations, theme configurations, and a Google Anayltics account later, the site was up and running.

The branding work wasn’t finished with just a website! Next on the design block was a tri-fold brochure. Kay wanted the piece to be more than “just a standard brochure” and needed it to communicate the unique capabilities of her business, while providing a call to action for any hands it landed in.

My work with CLE has continued into setting up appropriate social media channels to be able to expand their reach to customers as well as showcase ongoing projects. I am also working with CLE to produce a project blog to strengthen their web presence and improve site traffic through organic search.
A project like this is unspeakably awesome, as it provides a range of ways for me to flex my creativity and utilize my skill set to help a client’s business grow. It’s not about seeing how many add-on sales I can make to an account, it’s about selecting the best and most impactful services to help my clients meet their business objectives. When my clients are successful, so am I.
